No Obstacle Need Stop You!

Four Finger Pianist It does not matter what you face in life, no obstacle need stop you from achieving your dream, unless you allow it.

“Champions are born, losers are made” John Di Lemme.

This is the story of a champion who absolutely refused to allow life to make her a loser.

She was born a champion and is STILL a champion despite great obstacles. Champions always face obstacles with a determination to conquer.

What would you do if you were in Hee Ah Lee’s shoes? Many people would simply give up and allow their adversity and depression to crush their dreams, right?

What obstacles could have stopped Hee Ah from playing the piano?
She was born with a TOTAL of four fingers (two on each hand).

What about the parents of a child with such challenges? Most of them would be in great despair. But not Hee Ah’s mother. She became a great support to her daughter and encouraged her to follow her dream.

I see three main characteristics in the life of this young lady that would make sure you could overcome any obstacles in your life.

Desire.
Hee Ah had a desire to play the piano, but she only had 2 fingers on each hand (a total of four fingers). This is an “insurmountable task”. BUT Hee Ah has done it demonstrating to the world that NO OBSTACLE need stop you from following your dream. (Watch the video below).

But your desire must be STRONG. It takes a strong desire to inspire the courage, determination and diligence to pursue your dream and achieve it.

Determination.
As you watch the video, you will see a lot of determination in both Hee Ah herself and her mother who supported her.

Hee Ah’s music teacher is as hard on her as she is on any other student. How easy it would be for Hee Ah to adopt the attitude of “its not fair!” or “I can’t be expected to be as good as someone with 10 fingers”. But not Hee Ah. When you hear her play you will know that is certainly not her attitude. Hee Ah is a champion.

Diligence.
